Mixed Media Altered Frame

Hi guys! I'm back with a new project AND some exciting news! I have finally created a YouTube channel where you can watch how I create my art! It's something that I've wanted to do for a really long time and I'm so proud that I made it happen! Please visit and subscribe to my YouTube channel right  Here ! My new project is a mixed media altered frame.  Instead of using it for a photo, I've made it my "canvas". I really love the way it turned out. I've been seeing this door mould in a lot of projects from my fellow artists and I had to have it!  I love using moulds with paper clay for my embellishments.  I usually make a bunch at one time since they take awhile to air dry. For this project I used a bunch of Finnabair's Rust Effect Pastes.  They are so full of texture and can transform anything into a magical work of art.  I especially love the new Fantasy Texture Pastes!  The colors are absolutely amazing!  If you haven't tried them

You can visit her blog at: http://papermade-fairytale.blogspot.com/ Without further ado, here is my project: I started with a 10x10 canvas panel and covered it with a layer of white gesso. For my background I used a stencil with modeling paste, added some white crackle paste randomly, and then used a few stamps to create added interest. To build my composition, I ad
